On September 2017 Hurricane Maria completely devastated the island of Dominica. Due to lack of resources and funds most children only do a limited amount of creative work in school. While being creative will provide them with an ‘instrument’ and will help them (re)build their emotional resilience.

Our vision for the Breadfruit House is to offer children of Dominica an inspiring, encouraging and safe place to explore their creativity, to express their emotions and tell their story.
